Hi, I'm Lorissa and it's exciting to meet you here.
It has been my privilege to teach hundreds of students over the last 18 years. Many of them come to me wanting to explore a variety of styles and learn to improvise. Some students want to be trained in high level piano practise techniques to be ready for formal musical exams and university training. Regardless of the motivation, together we can work on some of the most beautiful and famous piano pieces of all time!
You can be assured that you will come away with all of the fundamental basics of music and develop your unique style of playing!

Mission
I offer a bridge between the contemporary world of bands and improvised styles of contemporary music playing and the rich and cultured world of classical music. I have a special interest in folk, world music and sacred song, and I offer specialised instruction in theory, song-craft, improvisation and songwriting.
Vision
Lessons can cover a broad range of styles, genres and techniques. Lessons are creative and innovative, fuelling the students intrinsic passion for music learning.
They are designed to help students find their unique flare as a creative artist, developing their own style, while holding true to the riggers of classical techniques and training.
Lorissa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music and has been blessed to have trained under incredible instructors (pianist/organists), such as Dr David Clarke and awarding winning educator David Redfern.

Piano Prodigy Adventures, to ensure all the fundamentals of music are taught in a creative and inspiring way.
